Projects & Funding: Several Intramural ( AIIMS-Interdisciplinary collaborative) & Extramural projects ( ICMR & SERB-DST) are presently managed as Principal Investigator by Dr. Rakhee. Her research group addresses molecular mechanisms underlying adipose tissue dysfunctions in obesity & associated co-morbidities. Using transcriptomics and cell culture-based studies, the group has elucidated promising therapeutics target in ameliorating thrombo-inflammation and meta-inflammation associated with obesity.
