Dr. Vijay PrakashMathuris presently working as Additional Professor in the Division of Pedodontics& Preventive Dentistry, Centre for Dental Education and Research. His main clinical thrust areas are Laser use in PediatricDentistry, Special care needs dentistry, Early Childhood caries, Dental Trauma, PediatricEndodontics and Molar Incisor Hypomineralization.

His main research interests are Dental public Health and Oral Epidemiology, Oral Health related Quality of Life, Bio-technology as relevant to dental sciences and Translational Dental Sciences, Metagenomics and Oral Microbiome and Tobacco control
