Because of the highly specialized nature of the work in Laboratory Oncology Unit, several senior residents have preferred to split their 3 years into two parts – one in the Laboratory Oncology and the other in the Pathology Department. However, five senior residents completed all three years in the Laboratory Oncology Unit. Two of these are holding faculty posts in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and IRCH, AIIMS. One has gone abroad after having served on the faculty in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and one works for a private company
