He is currently leading an implementation research project for the ICMR National Health Priority Project, aimed at strengthening ambulatory care for common Non-Communicable Diseases (diabetes, hypertension, chronic respiratory care, and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases), in the Faridabad district. He served at the Comprehensive Rural Health Services Project in Ballabgarh from 2014 to 2019. Working closely with health systems, he also supports the implementation of Comprehensive Primary Healthcare (CPHC) in aspirational blocks and the district of Nuh in Haryana through the Innovation and Learning Centre, which is supported by the National Health Systems Resource Centre. He is a master trainer for several of the expanded program packages under CPHC. He has authored a book on Primary Health Care in the Indian Scenario, with the support of the World Health Organisation's Country Office in India.
The other area he works passionately in is the field of adolescent and young adult health research, and he leverages community and institution-based platforms for the delivery of their health services. He has several publications in National and International, indexed, peer-reviewed journals. With keen interest in teaching and training, has conducted and organised several trainings on research methods, including both quantitative and qualitative research methods. He is also currently part of the AIIMS technical support unit on cause of death ascertainment through verbal autopsy systems. He has contributed to several national public health programmes. As a faculty member, he currently guides MD, PhD, and MSc nursing students in public health, epidemiology, and operational research projects.

Implementation science, school/college-based health promotion, adolescent and young adult health, chronic care, including mental health, primary health care, and health systems.
