Vikas
Kapil, DO, MPH, FACOEM Dr. Kapil is Associate Director for Science in the Division of Injury Response at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. In addition, he provides scientific oversight and coordination for the Indo-U.S. Collaboration on Environmental and Occupational Health and Injury Prevention and Control. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan and a Masters in Public Health (M.P.H.) from The University of Michigan. He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at POH Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan and in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Kapil is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Associate Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio
