Prof. Ravi
Ramamurthi is a reputed neurosurgeon from Chennai, and
is the Chairman of Dr. Achanta Lakshmipathi
Neurosurgical Center, Voluntary Health Services,
Chennai.
He did his medical school from Chennai in 1976, and
subsequently his M.S. in neurosurgery from Madras
Medical College and then his F.R.C.S.Ed. (S.N.) from
(Edinburgh) U.K. in 1983.
Among his many credentials, he spent time as visiting
professor at Justus Leibig University with Prof. H W Pia,
spent time with Prof. M G Yasargil and is the editor of
the Indian Textbook of Neurosurgery and Operative
Neurosurgery along with the Late Prof. Ramamurthi and
Prof. P N Tandon.
