National Medical College Network (NMCN) Project is functioning since the year 2014

AIIMS, New Delhi has been designated as RRC (Regional Resource Centre) of Central Region India under the NMCN project funded by e-Health Division (Telemedicine), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India, in which AIIMS is responsible to oversee the implementation and operations of NMCN project, in collaboration with Implementation Agency (IA) and National Resource Centre(NRC), in selected Govt. Medical Colleges & Hospitals of  five states: Delhi, Uttrakhand, Chhatisgarh, Rajasthan &  Madhya Pradesh.

The Telemedicon–2015 workshop for & sanitization awareness on NMCN was held on 13th & 14th March, 2015 in Dr. Ramalingaswami Board Room, AIIMS, New Delhi. The workshop was a grand success; it was attended by more than hundred participants including Nodal Officers of NRC, e-Health Division (Telemedicine) MoH&FW, Govt. of India, RRCs and other various Govt. Medical Colleges & Hospitals.

The Glasgow Emergency Surgery & Trauma Symposium – 2016 (GESTS-2016) was held on 25th – 26th February 2016 at Dr. Ramalingaswami Board Room, AIIMS, New Delhi. The symposium organized by Royal College of Physicians, Surgeons of Glasgow & Telemedicine Facility, AIIMS, New Delhi. It was a grand success.
