 Dr Animesh Das has joined as Assistant Professor of Neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 2019. He has special interest in demyelinating diseases, movement disorders and clinical electrophysiology.

 Dr. Das graduated from BRD Medical College, Uttar Pradesh in 2011 and completed his postgraduate degree (MD) in Pediatrics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2014. He did his 1-year senior residency in the Department of Pediatrics at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi from 2014-2015. Subsequently, he did his DM (Neurology) in 2018 from Sanjay Gandhi Post Gradute Institute of Medical Sciences and Post-Doctorate fellowship in Neurophysiology from the same Institute.

Dr. Deepa Dash completed her under graduation (MBBS) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi and was the recipient of 5 medals of proficiency including the Lady Willingdon Medal. After her under graduation, she did her MD from University College of Medical sciences, Delhi, where she was awarded the best post graduate in Medicine. She completed her DM Neurology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

She joined Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences as an Assistant professor in 2011.In 2013 she joined AIIMS, New Delhi as an Assistant Professor. Dr Dash has special interest in the sub-specialities of Movement disorders and Neuroimmunological disorders.

Dr. Vishnu was born in Southern-most state of India, Kerala. He is currently working as Associate Professor, Neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India.

Training: He completed his medical school (under graduation – MBBS) at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Following this he pursued his MD residency in Internal medicine from JIPMER, Puducherry and three-year residency (DM) in Neurology at PGIMER Chandigarh. He is currently pursuing an MRC funded split-site fellowship in Neuromuscular Genomic Medicine with UK supervising centre being Queen Square Institute of Neurology. He is also selected for the inaugural World Stroke Organisation Future Leaders Programme. He has received training in Cochrane systematic reviews and meta-analysis at Cochrane South Asia.

Research Interests: His research areas include Neuromuscular disorders, Stroke, Primary CNS vasculitis, Machine learning and Evidence based medicine. He has established a GBS Consortium of more than 30 centres. Dr.Vishnu is Incharge of AIIMS Comprehensive Neuromuscular disorders clinic (AIIMS-CNMD). He runs the multinational ICGNMD project in AIIMS New Delhi.  In stroke, currently he is involved as PI in an investigator-initiated RCT on role of prophylactic levetiracetam for primary prevention of post stroke seizures. He is a co-PI in an on-going machine learning project on early diagnosis of stroke in resource limited settings in collaboration with IIT Delhi. He is the PI of the AIIMS Primary CNS Vasculitis Registry and has an ongoing funded project on CSF and blood biomarkers in PCNSV. He is also involved in two Cochrane systematic reviews on HIV related neuropathy. He is the co-creator of a machine-learning based ios app for neurological differential diagnosis which was subsequently validated in multicentre study.

·प्रो. बेहारी अप्रैल के पहले रविवार को विश्‍व पार्किन्‍सन्स रोग दिवस के अवसर पर वार्षिक विश्‍व पार्किन्‍सन्‍स दिवस का आयोजन करती हैं। इसमें समग्र भारत से 500 से भी अधिक रोगी भाग लेते हैं और उन्‍हें पार्किन्‍सन्‍स रोग तथा संबंधित विकारों के विशेषज्ञों से बातचीत करने का अवसर मिलता है। वह एक एन जी ओ –पीआरएएन (पार्किन्‍सनसिज्‍म एण्‍ड रिलेटेड डिस्‍ऑर्डर्स अवेयरनेस नेटवर्क) की अध्‍यक्ष हैं।

·प्रो. प्रसाद एम्‍स, नई दिल्‍ली में 'स्‍ट्रोक' और एपि‍लेप्‍सी' पर रोगी सूचना कार्यशालाओं का नियमित रूप से आयोजन कर रहे हैं।

· डॉ. पद्मा ऐसे चिकित्‍सा विशेषज्ञों के दल की सदस्‍य हैं जो वार्षिक आधार पर लद्दाख के लोगों को बाह्य रोगी सेवाएं प्रदान करते हैं। वह पिछले पांच वर्षों से लेह, लद्दाख के जिला अस्‍पताल में न्‍यूरोलॉजी बाह्य रोगी सेवाएं प्रदान कर रही है। उन्‍होंने स्‍ट्रोक तथा 'ब्रेनस्‍ट्रोम' नामक न्‍यूरोलॉजीकल विकार के बारे में सामान्‍य जागरूकता पर कई जन स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया है।

· डॉ. मंजरी त्रिपाठी प्रत्‍येक वर्ष विश्‍व मिर्गी दिवस तथा अलज़ाइमर्स रोग दिवस का आयोजन करती है।

· डॉ. सुमित पीआरएन सोसायटी के महासचिव हैं और डॉ. विनय गोयल इसके (ऊपर देखें) कोषाध्‍यक्ष हैं तथा ये विभिन्‍न विकारों के प्रति जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए कई स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य संबंधी कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेते हैं।

·  डॉ. गारिमा पिछले 3 वर्षों से नवंबर में विश्‍व मिर्गी दिवस पर जन जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन कर रही हैं।

·सभी संकाय सदस्‍य रेडियो और टीवी पर स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य संबंधी कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेते रहे हैं और विभिन्‍न न्‍यूरोलॉजीकल विकारों के बारे में जानकारी देते हैं।

आंतरिक रोगी सेवाएं

 

विभाग गंभीर रोगियों को दाखिल कर उन्‍हें सेवाएं प्रदान करता है। यहां पर न्‍यूरोलॉजी रोगियों हेतु दो सामान्‍य वार्ड हैं। एक प्राइवेट वार्ड है और एक आईसीयू है। यहां पर चौथे तल पर और पांचवे तल पर स्थित (एनएस4) और (एनएस5) प्रत्‍येक सामान्‍य वार्ड में 34 बेड हैं और प्राइवेट वार्ड में 12 बेड हैं। सामान्‍य वार्ड में दाखिले हेतु रोगियों को सीनियर रेजीडेंट इंचार्ज द्वारा रोगी को भर्ती करने की तारीख दी जाती है। रोगियों को निर्धारित तिथि पर भर्ती करने वाले रेजीडेंट को दिए गए समय और स्‍थान पर मिलना होता है। उसके बाद उन्‍हें भर्ती पर्ची दी जाती है जिसे  केंद्रीय भर्ती और जांच केंद्र पर देना होता है। सामान्‍य वार्ड में योजना सहित 10 दिन के लिए प्रभार 375 रुपए है। प्राइवेट वार्ड में भर्ती न्‍यूरोसाइंसेज सेंटर के कार्यालय द्वारा की जाती है और इस कार्यालय से भर्ती की संभावित तिथि ली जाती है। उसके बाद रोगियों को भर्ती हेतु कक्ष लेने के लिए केंद्रीय भर्ती में जाना होता है। न्‍यूरोलॉजी के प्राइवेट वार्ड कार्डियो न्‍यूरो टावर में हैं और यह भवन न्‍यूरोसाइंसेज सेंटर के साथ लगा हुआ है। प्राइवेट वार्ड के कक्ष का प्रभार 10 दिन के लिए 12,500 रूपए हैं और भोजन का शुल्‍क अलग से है। सामान्‍य वार्ड के रोगी भी अपेक्षित भुगतान कर प्राइवेट वार्ड का भोजन प्राप्‍त कर सकते हैं।
