Work Experience, Research, Achievements:

            Experience for more than 5 years in diagnosis & management of ocular tumors with special interest in retinoblastoma and uveal melanoma at AIIMS, New Delhi.

One of the first ophthalmologists to do maximum number of cases of plaque brachytherapy for ocular tumors in a government institute in India.

Currently undergoing institute grant research on choroidal melanoma and retinoblastoma

Dr. R.P.Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences has Medical Social Service Unit to assist, guide and help poor, indigent needy patients for their treatment by providing free spectacles, medicines and surgical items required for the treatment. We accept donations in mode of cash /cheque/NEFT as well as medicines and spectacles etc..

Donations for poor & indigent patients undergoing treatment at our centre can be made by Cash/ Bank Draft/ Cheque drawn in favor of “POOR PATIENTS FUND ACCOUNT / Dr. R.P.Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences”/ NEFT (Account Nbr.10874588480,IFSC:SBIN-0001536) .Donations made under this account are eligible for 100 % tax relief U/S 80G and 35 of the Income Tax Act, 1961vide order no. DIT (E) 2006-2007/A-240/1216 dated 31-08-2006 .
