Prof Arvind Kumar visited Liverpool Hospital at Sydney on a “WHO” training in the field of Trauma. Liverpool Hospital is the tertiary care trauma center serving the South West Sydney Area with a separate trauma unit. He observed the pre hospital as well as hospital care of trauma patients in detail.
Dr Sandeep Guleria was awarded the Luminary award by the IMA South Delhi Branch. He continues to be a member of the government of India Authorization Committee for Liver and Renal Transplantation in the Union territory of Delhi. He was appointed as a Examiner for the Royal college of Surgeons of Glasgow for the MRCS examination.
Dr V Seenu was designated as Trainer for No scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He was Invited faculty at SGPGI Breast Course 2006-2007 and invited faculty at MAMC Delhi Surgery Update.
Dr Sandeep Aggarwal received a 1-year fellowship from Mount Sinai School of Medicine during which he visited Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Center for Bariatric Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at New York City, USA from December 2005-December 2006
Dr V K Bansal received a Short Term Fellowship toVisit Training Centre for Minimally Invasive Surgery at Eberhard-Karls University, University Hospital, Tuebingen, Germany from 18th September 2006 to 30th November 2006. He attended the following Training Courses in Laparoscopic Surgery as a Tutor during the above fellowship
- Basic and Advanced course for laparoscopic surgery
- Intensive course for Trans Anal Endoscopic Microsurgery
- Laparoscopic colorectal surgery
- Laparoscopic upper abdominal surgery
