Aashish is an alumnus of AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed his MD in Microbiology in 2007, and is currently working at the post of Assistant Professor in the Virology section of the department since May 2014.
His areas of interest include congenital viral infections (HCMV, Rubella), Viral hepatitis (HBV, HCV, HEV), Post-Tx SOT/HSCT infections (HCMV, BK virus), sexually-transmitted infections (HPV, HSV-2), viral hemorrhagic fevers (Dengue fever), cell culture and molecular virology.
