Professor of Ophthalmology
Prof Ramanjit Sihota, MD, FRCS, FRCOphth, is heading the Glaucoma research facility and clinical services at Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India.
She completed her MD Ophthalmology in 1982, and her FRCS, Edinburgh in 1984. She won the World Glaucoma Association ‘Research recognition award’ 2011, and numerous national and international awards for research in glaucoma. She is a member of the international Glaucoma Research Society, and is a past president of the Glaucoma Society of India.
She has written 16 chapters in books, and published over 130 papers in peer reviewed, indexed, international journals.
