My Hospital is a citizen-centric MyGov platform of Government of India which capture patient feedback on the quality of services received from both public and empanelled private health facilities and there by allows patients to connect with the healthcare providers and policymakers. It works through multiple communication channels, including Short Message Service (SMS), Outbound Dialling (OBD), a mobile application, and a web portal.
The ‘Mera Aspataal’ feedback results of All India Institute Of Medical Science during the last three months have been collated in which a total of 9,940 responses were received.
|The data suggests that the overall satisfied patients were 77% as opposed to just 23% who were not satisfied with the health care services offered by AIIMS. The major cause for patient dissatisfaction is coming from the behavior of staff (35%), followed by other reasons (34%). Quality of treatment and the cost of treatment was another expressed cause (13% and 12% resp.) Cleanliness was the least expressed cause of patient satisfaction i.e 6%|
|The respondents of 15 departments contribute to 75% of the total responses out of which the average patient satisfaction level was 76%.|
The MERA ASPATAL feedback data will be used to improve quality of services in healthcare facilities of AIIMS.
