Dr Arunmozhimaran Elavarasi did her MBBS from Tuticorin Government Medical College, The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University. She received the Best Outgoing Student Award and 14 University Medals and was the Topper of the University in 2010. Subsequently she did her MD Medicine (2011-13) at AIIMS, New Delhi and worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Medicine, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2014. She completed her DM in Neurology from AIIMS New Delhi (2015-2017). After acquiring her Neurology qualification, she has worked as Assistant Professor in Neurology in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, JIPMER Pondichery from January-December 2018. After a brief stint in National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS, Bangalore) as Faculty (March 2019-October 2019), she joined as Assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at AIIMS, New Delhi in October 2019.

Awards and Honours
Elavarasi A has received various awards during her schooling including the NTSE scholarship. She also topped the university in MBBS. She has presented her Research work in International forums and received Awards of honor during her MD course. She also has received prizes and awards for presentations in conferences during DM course.
She is the recipient of the prestigious American Academy of Neurology International Scholarship in 2018 and World Federation of Neurology Junior travelling fellowship in 2019.
