Applications are invited by the Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 029 from Indian Citizens within a period of one month from the date of Publication of the Advertisement for the following temporary posts:-

GROUP `A' POSTS

1. Asstt. Blood Transfusion Officer : ONE (UR)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

A recognized medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956), Holders of educational qualification included in part II of the 3^rd schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Two years experience in Blood Bank after registration as a Medical Graduate.

3. The candidate must be registered with a State Medical Council.

M.Sc. Ist Class in the Life Science. Preference will be given to those possessing Ph.D.

The candidate will be required to carry out MRI/NMR investigations in humans, animals and molecular level work.

6. BIOCHEMIST : TWO (1-OBC for Neurology and 1-UR for Pediatrics)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

i) A good Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or in Chemistry with Biochemistry as a special subject of a recognized University.

ii) Three years research or practical experience in Biochemistry or Pathological Laboratory preferably of a Medical College or Hospital.

7. CHEMIST : ONE (1-UR)

(i) M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry/ Biochemistry or Pharmacology from a recognized University/ Institution.

8. MEDICAL PHYCIST : ONE (1-UR)

1. Asstt. Administrative Officer : THREE (UR)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

i) Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent.

ii) 5 years of experience as Office Supdt. or in equivalent post; and working knowledge of Govt. Rules and Regulations.

DESIRABLE

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management/ Labour Laws/ Administrative Law.

2. Asstt. Security Officer : THREE (UR)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent; and

(ii) Following Physical Standards;

(a) Height : 170 cms. minimum (Relaxable by 5 cms. only for
residents of hill areas)

(b) Chest : 81 cms. (85 cms. after expansion) (Relaxable by 5 cms.
only for residents of hill areas).

(c) Should possess sound health free from defect/deformity/
disease. Vision in both eyes should be 6/12 (without glasses).
There should be no colour blindness. (Candidates claiming
relaxation in height and chest will have to produce the
certificate to this effect from the competent authority viz.,
Deputy Commissioner/ Distt. Magistrates/ Tehsildars of their
places or residence.)

(iii)Experience for at least 5 years in keeping security preferable in a
hospital/medical institution of repute.

DESIRABLE

Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Subadar or Inspectors of Police from Civil/ Para Military Forces.

5. Social Psychologist : ONE (1-UR)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION

1. Masters degree in Psychology at least IInd class.

2. Five years working experience with Physically handicapped in a
Rehabilitation Centre.

DESIRABLE

1. Specialization in Social Psychology.

2. Ability to write articles.

3. Must have published articles in Hindi or regional languages on
Rehabilitation of Physically handicapped.

(1-Electronics, 1-Refrigeration & Air-conditioning and 1-Mechanical in the trade of Boiler)

A. Degree of a recognized University in

(i) Electronics ; or

(ii) Glass Technology; or

(iii) Mechanical Engineering;

(iv) Or any other branch of Engineering considered relevant;

OR

B. (a) Diploma/Certificate (of not less than 3 years duration) of a recognized Institution in

(i) Radio/Television Engineering or Electronics Engineering or
Electrical Engineering; or

(ii) Glass Technology; or

(iii) Mechanical Engineering; or

(iv) Any other branch of Engineering considered relevant;

(b) Five years of experience in fabrication, repair and maintenance of laboratory instruments. (This is essential in the case of Diploma holders only)

NOTE : The Appointing Authority shall decide the particular discipline of Engineering/ Technology in which Degree or Diploma with relevant experience is required on each occasion a vacancy is to be filled.

Relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Caste/ Tribe and OBC candidates; upper age limit is relaxable 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

2. All posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi.

3. 4. At the time of submission of application, applicant will have to enclosed a Bank Draft/Pay Order Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in case of General/OBC category and Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for SC/ST category in respect of Group `A’ and `B’ posts only in favour of Director, AIIMS payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

Incomplete applications will be rejected and applications received after the due date will not be entertained. If any candidate is found to be doing convassing for his/her selection, he/she will be disqualified for being called for interview/being selected.
