The N.S.S. Unit of AIIMS is one of the most active N.S.S. Units in Delhi. On a regular basis, it organizes the following activities:

• Health Camps in slums
• Health Education Talks
• Health Education Role Plays
• Baby Shows
• Immunization Clinics
• Blood Donation Camps in Colleges & Communities
• Observance of all important health related National, International & World Days.
• Publication of Health Education Materials
• Training Programmes on health:

      -         on HIV/AIDS, STDs
-         Basic Orientation Course in Community Health

Summary of Activities for the year 2002-2003
(01-4-2002 to 31-3-2003)

 The N.S.S. Unit of AIIMS is located at Centre for Community Medicine. Despite receiving no grants from the government, the unit continued to be active  in the year under review.  The following are the highlights of its achievements in the year under review:

• The NSS Unit organized a Poster Competition on “HIV/ AIDS” for medical, nursing and postgraduate students of AIIMS (28-3-2003).

·        Organized an exhibition on World Health Day

Main Blood Bank A.I.I.M.S/Lions Club Delhi with collaboration
