Last date of submission of abstracts is 31st August 2006. Organizing committee invites original scientific papers in field of gynaecological oncology for oral presentation / posters as per guidelines given below. There will be awards for the best scientific paper and poster. Abstracts will be published in a special issue of the Indian Journal of Gynaecologic Oncology. Guidelines: 1.Abstract must be submitted in English on A4 size paper, with minimum 2.5 cm margin all around. Maximum no. of words is 250. Use a standard serif or sans serif font (minimum 12 point). Please use an electric/electronic typewriter or inkjet or laser printer (not dot matrix). Submission through email or CD is preferred. 2. The presenting author must register for the conference at the time of submitting the abstract. 3. The title, author’s names, department, institution and city should be mentioned. Underline the presenting author’s name. 4. The text of the abstract should preferably be structured, under the following or similar headings; Background / Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. A table may be provided if required and word count adjusted accordingly. Only standard abbreviations are permitted. Abstracts stating “Data will be discussed” will not be accepted. 5. Please do not fold the abstract page.
