Dr. Tanuj Dada

Associate Professor of Ophthalmology

Dr Tanuj Dada completed his the graduation from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 1993 and joined Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (AIIMS) as a postgraduate student in 1994. After completing his MD course in ophthalmology in 1996.

He was a Senior Resident at the centre till 2000 and then joined as a faculty member. He has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the department since then.


Dr Tanuj Dada has been awarded the DC Bhutani gold medal for the best undergraduate and the Bod Raj Sabherwal gold medal for the best postgraduate in ophthalmology, the Ophthalmic Research association award for the best Senior Resident and the Mohan Lal Wig gold medal for the best clinical research under the age of 35 years at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He has also been awarded the AC Agarwal trophy twice, the Trehan Trophy and certificate for Distinguished Resource Teacher by the Delhi Ophthalmological society.
He has authored 5 books, written 28 chapters and has 130 publications to his credit with over 80 publications in peer reviewed international journals. He has also served as a reviewer for esteemed international journals such as Acta Ophthalmologica and Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.


His area of specialization includes Glaucoma, Phacoemulsification and pediatric cataract surgery.
