Dr.Rohit Saxena
                                Associate Professor of Ophthalmology

 


 

Dr Rohit Saxena completed his graduation from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in 1996 and joined Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (AIIMS) as a postgraduate student in 1996. After completing his MD course in Ophthalmology in 1999, he was a Senior Resident at the centre till 2002. He joined the faculty as Assistant Professor at the centre in 2003.

 

 His main interests are:

              -Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology

                    -Neuro-Ophthalmology

                    -Phacoemulsification 

Awards:

1 Awarded the Certificate of Academic Excellence from the Delhi   Ophthalmology   Society for the years 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003 and 2003-2004
2 Awarded  Member in Good Standing for the year 2002 from the American Academy of Ophthalmology
3 Awarded Certificate of  “Esteemed Resource Teacher” by the Delhi Ophthalmology Society for the year 2001-2002.
4 Awarded the Certificate of Merit for the best paper presentation in the Delhi Ophthalmology Society meeting 2002 and 2001.

Awarded Travel Fellowship from the Asian Neuro-Ophthalmology Society  in 2004
