Application form for permission for animal experiments (IAEC)

 

All small & large animals of Rodents, Sheep and Monkey colony have been maintained by us in the Central Animal facility, AIIMS. 

The various activities of this unit are categorized as follows.

 

Small Animal (Rodents):

 

1.  Rats (Wistar)                                                              

2.  Rats(Sprague Dawley)                    

3.  Mice (Swiss)                                        

4.  Rabbits (New Zealand)                      

5.  Guinea Pigs (Dunkin Hartley)           

6.  Non-Human Primates(Monkey)

7.  Sheep

 

 

 

Departmental Experimental Wing:

 

We are maintaining the departmental experimental wing of the rodents animals of the various departments of the Institute like Rats, Mice, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs      (Outbreed & Inbreed).

 Large Animal Facility (Sheep):                  

 

Sheep Colony facility housed, 2 (two) sheep used by the department of Microbiology, AIIMS for the teaching and diagnostic purposes.

 

Non Human Primate (Monkeys)

Juvenile =16 (Male 06 and Female 10)
