Since, it became functional at Ghaziabad in 2003, the centre has witnessed a phenomenal rise in number of patients seeking treatment from here. The catchment area of the centre is also quite wide; currently while about a third of patients are from Delhi, a majority of those who seek treatment are from Uttar Pradesh. A small number of patients are also from other states such as Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana
