Short Term Training Three WHO fellows received short term training for six months in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Also three doctors from U.K. and one from U.S.A. completed three weeks elective training in the department. One month training in Obstetrics Ultrasonography was provided to two doctors and elaborate eight months training in operative Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy was given to one doctor from Delhi. Long Term Training One doctor deputed for training in Endoscopy surgery for two years from July 2001 from Army Medical Services. Continuing Medical Education

The Post Partum Programme (PPP) is a maternity centred hospital based approach to family welfare programme by providing a package of RCH and family welfare services with vicinity of the hospital as well as in the field practice areas. It is run as an integrated multidisciplinary exercise where the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology coordinates with departments of Paediatrics, Community Medicine, Surgery and Anaesthesiolotgy.
